Hi there. I'm typing this because there's a Kickstarter Project in need of support, and I think your group might be the right be just the right people to help out.
A company called "Avidly Wild Games" is currently trying to raise the funds to make a dark Roguelike Action RPG game called "Our Darker Purpose". The game is set in a dark orphanage called "Edgewood Home For Lost Children", and you play as a girl named Cordy, one of the student there. One day, all the teachers and adults of the school vanish, and the children there, with no adults around, begin giving into their darker instincts, battling each other for control over the school. Cordy decides to ascend the orphanage to the Administrator's Office at the top floor.
The project needs $40,000.00 in order to be funded, and needs to achieve this goal by June 27th at 1:02 PM EDT. As of this post, they currently have $18,289.00.
I myself am not involved in the project in any way. It has simply captured my attention for some time, and I think it would be nice if this project got funded. I myself don't have much in the way of help I can offer them, but I thought fans of darker fiction would be willing to help the project get funded. By the way, I apologize if I seemed weird by just up and showing you this out of the blue, or presumptuous in assuming your group would want to help out in funding simply because they're fans of dark things. Sure, I could just post something about it, but on my own DA page, I often wonder if anybody sees it. So, I decided to go directly to people I feel would be most interested. Still, sorry if I seemed weird or presumptuous.
